After a week of rain, this weekend has been epic. Warm winter days, vibrant blue skies, the energy in Brisbane is electric.
With a buzz like this in the air, it is impossible not to be affected in a positive way. Yet this weekend has surprised and surpassed all my dreams.
Serendipity: the faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident.
This weekend has been filled with serendipitous moments, one moment after the other, each moment as accidental as beautifully surprising as the next.
From perfect weather, to unplanned moments of happiness, being in the right place at the right time not once but twice to experience live jazz music so chillingly beautiful and vibrant that I thought my heart may explode.
To quiet moments by myself at my favorite coffee shop in Brisbane where I currently sit by myself, listening to music, writing, sipping on a coffee, viewing the photos I have just taken with my new fisheye lens.
Why is it that of all the tables I could have chosen to sit at, did I sit here where I happen to glance up to see a flyer on something that has recently been occupying my thoughts for the new path I feel my life is about take.
Fortunate discoveries by accident, accidental moments of happiness and good fortune.
A heart bursting with joy.
A head filled with positive thoughts.
