Yoga on the beach

There really is something extremely fulfilling about doing something you love in a setting that inspires you and makes you happy.

This place for me is the beach.

Last night, I drove 40 minutes to the beach to watch the sunset, did some yoga and then drove home.

Why I feel I don’t have the time some weekends to do this, is beyond me. Why I wouldn’t make the time to do things that fills my heart with joy is unfathomable.

Last night I spent just fifteen minutes doing Yoga in my favourite setting. Fifteen minutes certainly does not sound like a lot, yet in just fifteen minutes as the sun set behind me; I had stretched, calmed my mind, filled my lungs with beautiful fresh air, re-energised my tired body and my slightly stressed mind.

To me the beach fixes everything and has special healing powers and most of us know or are vaguely aware of the benefits and healing powers of Yoga. I don’t know why I never really connected this earlier, but Yoga on the beach is  a super force of positive energy, so it stands to reason that it will surely fill me with super strength and healing powers.
